Henry (And his girlfriend, Hetty)

HENRY- IN STOCK £99.99
HETTY – IN STOCK £109.99
A Lot of you will know Henry. You may not have met him, or had the pleasure of his company, but you’ll have no doubt seen him around. He likes to hang out in Hotels, office blocks, nightclubs, schools and shops.
And to be honest, he sucks….
…Very well.
Henry is just about the best out and out Vacuum money can buy. He’s completely gimmick free (apart from the smiley face) and simply gets on with the job. When I sell a Henry I generally describe him as a motor in a bucket. It sounds simplistic but it’s true. There are no hepa filters, or bagless systems, or self cleaning motor filters or anything.
You just plug him in, put in a bag and turn him on, and he will suck up anything dry that lays before him. He is happy to work for extened periods at a time, and will happily pick up builders rubble as much as crumbs or the fallout from a day at the office. So long as it’s dry, and not too fine (plaster dust for example will kill ANY vacuum cleaner) he will snort it up.
The main body of Henry comes in 3 parts. The head contains the retractable
cable, the motor and switches, there’s a filter that then fits between his head and his body, which is just a bucket on wheels with an attachment for a paper bag.
On Henry’s nose you attach a hose, onto which you can fit tools, extension rods or the main floor tools. This makes him ideal for cleaning up after DIY, cleaning an office or home and cleaning out the car!
What Henry doesn’t like, are stairs. To be honest, he’s got a fat bottom, and using him on stairs can be precarious, as he simply won’t rest on a standard step. Other than that though, he’ll generally take whatever abuse you throw at him, because he’s so simple.
Bags are cheap too. £4.99 for a pack of Ten, and they are pretty big, meaning you won’t be changing them every 5 minutes and the 10 will last months. We’d never recommend re-using a bag, as they protect the motor as much as they trap dirt.
Henry’s a sly old fox as well. He’s got a girlfriend. She’s called Hetty, and worryingly is identical to Henry in every way bar a pink body and some eyelashes. Even so, she costs more than Henry at £109.99
Henry himself costs £99.99. you may see him cheaper in the supermarkets, but be careful. Our Henry features METAL rods and a low power consumption. A lot of “supermarket” Henry’s are a pared back model, with weak, plastic pipes.
So, in conclusion, if you have lots of hard floors and low carpets, Henry is ideal. If you have lots of stairs or animals, like any cylinder, he’s not going to perform as well as a specialist pet machine or upright.
