Which 42″ Tv should I buy the old man?
Thursday, 06 Aug 2009 ~ Posted by Mook
Mook,
My old man is after a new TV, he wants a 42″ set, he’s almost certainly going to get SkyHD sorted out too. He’s asked what I think he should get and after a quick hunt round I’m thinking Panasonics P42G10 seems to fit the bill, it has something called Neo-PIP whatever the heck that is and a freesat tuner (which he’ll not need). Any other suggestions at all ? Budget wise I’m thinking sub £1k.
Cheers,
Paul
Definetley go for the 42G10
The Freesat is just thrown in by Panasonic, but the Neo-pdp is worth having
Thats the ultra-bright, energy saving, 600hz new generation panel. It’s what I’ve sold more of in the last 2 months than anything else. Loveley set. Great for sports and movies (as Sean Pertwee keeps telling us)
I retail them for £899 at the moment with a 5 year warranty
I wouldn’t bother with the Pana 42″ lcd, or the X series, unless he really wants to save some wedge.
Can’t really recommend anything else as that’s such a lovely panel.
Hope that helps
