What is the best make of Kettle?

What is the best make of Kettle?
Hmmm, now this is a really good question. The answer, I’m afraid, won’t be what you want to hear.
The Electric Kettle has been around for nearly 100 years and they seemingly STILL can’t make a reliable one. Either that or they choose not to.
It seems, no matter what kettle you buy, or how much you spend, they never last more than a couple of years. Of course you get exceptions, but generally they leak or simply pack up. It’s as annoying for me as it is the consumer, as we have to deal with the returns during warranty.
My advice. Well, certain Breville models, like the JK46 (which is ironically discontinued) have proven to be reliable, and good value. Of all the brands, we have more trouble with Morphy Richards than the rest BUT they do have a 2 year warranty. Any time during this warranty we will exchange the faulty item for a new one.
So, which is the best kettle?
The one you like the look of, is the regrettable answer.
Hope that helps
