How do I re-tune my Sanyo TV?
Wednesday, 30 Sep 2009 ~ Posted by Mook
SANYO TV;
1) Turn on the TV and look at a Freeview channel.
2) Press the large “M” button near the top of your remote control. A blue box will appear on your TV screen.
3) Press the down arrow button (the bottom of the silver ring just below the “M” button) until the word “Installation” is lit up in dark blue. Press the OK button on your remote control.
4) The words “First Time Installation” will appear on your screen. Press the OK button.
5) The words “Automatic Search” will appear on your screen. Press the OK button once more.
6) A box will appear asking you if you want to do this. Press the left-hand arrow button (the left hand side of the silver ring) until “Yes” is lit in dark blue. Press the OK button.
7) A large blue or grey screen will appear, with “First Time Installation” at the top. This will take about 3 or 4 minutes to disappear, don’t do anything else. Eventually it’ll take you back to BBC1, and that’s done…
Remember to keep these instructions safe. You will have to do this several more times over the next few years due to the digital switchover.
